The ToneToneA app is designed to work without accounts, advertising, analytics, or personal-data collection.
What the ToneToneA app collects
The ToneToneA app does not collect personal data off your device, transmit it to us, sell it, or share it. The App Store version does not contain advertising, analytics, tracking, account creation, or a built-in social network. If you choose Share Result, iOS presents a share sheet with result text. You choose the destination; ToneToneA does not receive the destination or subsequent activity.
Practice data stored on your device
Your learning and review history, review schedule, curriculum progress, daily-challenge attempts and results (from which streaks are calculated), selected instrument, app language, note-name style, onboarding completion, and Finger Reflex position and pace are stored locally on your device using Apple’s app preferences. This information is not sent to us.
Microphone and audio
The App Store version does not request microphone access. Practice sounds are bundled with the app and play locally on your device.
Network access and third parties
ToneToneA does not use a network connection to deliver its practice features and does not include third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. Apple may process App Store purchases, downloads, crash reports, or device diagnostics under Apple’s own privacy terms, depending on your device settings.
This website
We do not add cookies, forms, client-side scripts, or analytics to this static website. It is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, so Cloudflare may process basic request information, such as your IP address and browser or device details, to deliver and secure the site under Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.
Support communications
If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and any device or app details you choose to include. We use this information to respond to and troubleshoot your request. Email is handled by the email services used by you and us under their own privacy terms. Please do not send sensitive personal information.
Retention and deleting your data
Reset All Progress in ToneToneA Settings clears learning and review history, curriculum progress, and daily-challenge attempts and results. It leaves app preferences unchanged. Deleting the app removes the remaining local app data, subject to Apple’s device and backup behavior.
We keep support emails only as long as reasonably necessary to handle your request or meet legal obligations. You can ask us to delete a support message by emailing support@tonetonea.com.
Children’s privacy
The ToneToneA app does not knowingly collect personal information from children. A child who needs to contact support should ask a parent or guardian for help and should not send sensitive personal information.
Changes to this policy
If ToneToneA’s data practices change, this page and the App Store privacy disclosure will be updated before the change is released.
